Today we plan to take a little break and offer you something people enjoy the most - retirement jokes. One thing people need in life and that is a little bit of laughter. Yeah, laughing is good medicine and just gets everything functioning right in the body. It’s kind of like exercise. It does the body good.

We have been looking at the various ways to analyze mutual funds. From time to time it is good to take a step back and just have a good laugh. Below is an example of how not to select a mutual fund or investment. However, if you are into the movie “Wall Street” where the saying “Greed is Good!” prevails, then you might want to place your money with this investment group. Then again, probably not.

We are sure from this video you can see the importance of diversifying your investments. Too often we keep everything in a single stock or investment fund. However, you may be limited to just a few funds if you are in your company’s retirement savings program or 401K program. Even though it may be limited, you should discuss this with the plan provider. They might have some good advise on how to best manage it.

You may have already been investing and now you see that your investments are down drastically. That can be a concerning challenge. However, there is hope. I came across a book call “How to Make $1,000,000 in the Stock Market Automatically“.
In this little book, it shows how to position your self so you could take advantage of situations like we are experiencing. The version of the book that I have has a special chapter for retirees on how to apply his system (Chapter 17 starts on page 266). Thought you might want to check it out.
